Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
